You asked for it, you got it. You can block your book on the SalonBiz Stylist App. This was a big request by many of you and we are happy to make it available. Make sure you triple check your security settings for blocking in SalonBiz Blueprints. Click here for a consolidated guide on granting or denying access to certain features in the Stylist App.
You can ADD services to your client’s ticket from the Stylist App. After your client checks in, you’ll see the option to add services. This is a seamless way to ensure everything that happens in the chair goes on the ticket before checkout.
Keep an eye out for another release early next month that will allow you to view Consultation history in the appointment info on the Stylist App. If you aren’t using the custom electronic Consultation forms, go to Central and get them setup so you are ready to roll when they are released!
Have you launched Pocket Salon yet?! Clients are loving the ability to check in, shop and book their appointments. Salons are loving less phone calls and reduced no-shows!
We’ve made some great improvements to the booking feature that guides clients booking multiple services.
When a client is booking services with more than 1 staff, the updated book guides them by highlighting the time they select for the first staff, and include the end time of when the service will be done so that they know when they can select the second staff’s time. Additionally, we prevent them from selecting a time for the second staff that would conflict with their services with the first.
Salon Admins can also control the location’s hours and add a specific Pocket Salon App cancel and booked reason.
We’ve made it even easier for your clients to connect with you on the App. They can create an account from directly via Pocket Salon. If no salons are returned for their email address, they will search for their salon, and tap the Create Account button in the next screen.
The current location selected in Pocket Salon is displayed at the top of the Booking and Products pages, in addition to the Home and Cart pages.
