One Guest From Scheduling To Sales

Each of our SalonBiz apps are designed to work as a cohesive system that allows you to easily manage your salon’s day-to-day, while maximizing efficiency and profitability. But, how do they all work together in practice? 

Before the appointment

We all know the guest experience starts before your client walks in the door. With SalonBiz, it starts right when she gets inspired to try out a new style or remembers her roots.

Your guest can go directly to the Pocket Salon app whenever inspiration strikes. She can see what services she’s had in the past and rebook with her previous stylist, or search for an available time and stylist that works with her schedule. 

When she books on Pocket Salon, she gets a confirmation email and text. Her appointment information immediately updates in your system.

Day of the appointment

It’s the morning of your guest’s appointment. The stylist grabs her coffee and opens up the SalonBiz Stylist App to check her day’s schedule. 

Your salon manager is also up and checking her Stylist App. With her special permissions, she’s checking the weekly numbers and seeing how everyone’s doing. She notices that her top stylist has a busy day and sends her a “You got this!” message through the app.

Your client is getting ready for her day as well. She got a notification reminder of her appointment, so it doesn’t slip her mind. Later in the day, she sends her stylist a note through the app with ideas for what she wants to do with her hair.

Check-in 

When she arrives at the salon, your guest checks herself in for her appointment on Pocket Salon, which sends a guest arrival notification to her stylist’s Apple Watch.

Her stylist, of course, has been preparing for the visit in the Stylist App. She received the guest’s ideas and is comparing them to notes in her customer profile about what she’s done in the past and what her go-to color formula is. Your stylist can also see favorite products that might be running low and have them ready and waiting.

The appointment

Once she’s in the chair, the stylist brings your guest through a full consultation, using the forms customized for your salon in the iPad app.

While her color is processing, your guest browses for products she needs on Pocket Salon, and discusses them with her stylist. The stylist uses the iPad App to provide product recommendations. When she’s decided on a few options, your stylist adds them to the guest’s file and to her ticket so the front desk has them ready for her when she checks out.

Check-out 

At this point, her stylist can rebook her next appointment and check her out at the chair with the iPad App, or the guest can use Pocket Salon to rebook and check herself out. 

Product recommendations pop up when your guest enters the app automatically, so all she has to do is click on the product to add it to her cart for in-store pickup. Your guest can even tip on the Pocket Salon app, with suggested percentages already calculated.

Her info is saved for next time and everything is updated across all platforms, making the whole guest experience seamless, from start to finish.
