The newest version of the SalonBiz Stylist App is here! This new version went live a little over 2 weeks ago and we hope you are loving it! We want to make sure you are getting the most out of the mobile tools, so we’ve put together a quick run-down of the new features and best practices for one of your favorite apps.
Blocked time reasons
With the blocked time reason displayed on the book, you’ll always know why it’s blocked whether is a lunch, meeting or training.
Default request reason
Select the default request reason to assign to new appointments. You can always change it to a different one before creating the appointment, if needed.
A request reason will only be required if your SalonBiz settings are set to require one. You can check by viewing the default setting under Blueprints – Staff & Book – Request Type – Require retention/request type?
Your customer’s preferred contact number is shown under the “view info” option.
Your Central Administrator can determine if they’d like to display the full contact or mask it so that it only shows part of the info.
Rock your service and consultations by adding customer, appointment and ticket notes. While in the Notes section, click the + button to enter your notes.
Keep in mind Ticket notes can only be added once the client has been checked in.
When reviewing purchase history, you can view the price paid for products and services.
You can use the calendar to select a date to view stats!
Stats view options
You can also change the view option to see all staff’s stats in one screen. Managers can touch the dropdown in the Stats screen to select location stats, other individual stats, or all staff stats in the location.
Simply select the stat from the dropdown to view the values; the staff will be ranked top to bottom by that value.
To send in the moment push notifications to staff from the stats screen, touch the speech bubble to send a message to an individual staff member or all of your staff at the location.
Our new banners will appear when you login and wake up the app and are meant to be informative and provide you with the what’s going on in the industry as well as new updates to your software.
